"The most significant gifts are the ones most easily overlooked. Small, everyday blessings: woods, health, music, laughter, memories, books, family, friends, second chances, warm fireplaces, and all the footprints scattered throughout our days."

The Day After

We got about eight - ten inches of snow yesterday. Today, the sun was shining bright again. At times, it was almost blinding outside as the sunlight reflected off the newly fallen white blanket of snow. It was warmer today, too...not icy cold like it was with the winds gusting and the snow falling yesterday. It was a good day to get outside, roam around, and take a few photos to post!

Today, we saw our first snow of the season. It always looks so pretty when everything gets layered with powdery, fresh snow!
