On this dark and rainy night, a little raccoon showed up in our backyard for a midnight snack!

On its Way

It's official ... our crocuses are blooming, so Spring is almost here.  All week we expect mild temperatures in the 60s and lower 70s.  What a welcome change from our winter of record blizzards and cold, gray days. It's so nice to go outside without a heavy coat and feel the warmth of the sun kiss your skin.  As in Albert Camus' famous quote, "In the depth of winter, I finally learned there was in me an invincible summer," we see invincibility in the delicate springtime plants that bring forth their dormant shoots and celebrate the warmth of a new season with their lovely flowers.  We are especially happy to come across the crocus flowers before our squirrels and deer show their appreciation of them by nibbling them off!

To All who survived the long winter and are reveling in the joys of this turn in seasons ...

HAPPY SPRING!!!
