Springtime Brights

Today, our hot pink azalea bushes were made even brighter with a score of swallowtail butterflies that found the flower nectar irresistible!

A bird's nest in the backyard forsythia bush is a sure sign that baby birds are on the way!

Spring's arrived with all its glorious colors.  It always feels like it takes so long for the flowers to bloom and the green leaves to appear, and then, as if by magic, the colors just start to pop!  I always love to see our bleeding heart perennials blooming their strings of dainty heart-shaped blossoms.

The appearance of the lovely purple violets are a welcome sight, too.  Each day brings more color that makes everything more bright.
