We got hit by another wintery blast today … 6 more inches of snow fell and icy rains are coming, plus it's just so cold!!! Spring, although just around the corner, feels like a distant dream. Here are some of the winter sights around our cabin today.

First Sighting this Year

It went from freezing temps and snowy weather last week to spring-like days this week. The premature warmth brought us an early visitor. The little frog below was clinging to the outside of Kevin's library window tonight. We're guessing he's a tree frog or peeper of some variety. Early February is very early to see any type of frog here!
